Pluralism is active engagement of diverse identities to foster relationships and work together for the common good. Interfaith America and AASCU have launched a cohort of ten regional public universities dedicated to advancing this goal. Senior administrators from 3-4 institutions across the country will co-lead this session in partnership with Interfaith America, highlighting distinct approaches moving the needle to advance pluralism in their institutional context. Participants will engage with Fostering Pluralism in Higher Education: A Playbook for Senior Leaders, a tool that helps institutions map assets and identify opportunities to strengthen pluralism practices. Leaders will leave with strategies for cultivating inclusive and connected communities. The insights shared in this session will offer guidance for building vibrant and engaged academic environments.
