Location Name
Regency Ballroom BC
Session Type
Roundtable
Description

This session, led by student-leaders, will engage fellow students looking to lead and enact change on their respective campuses and communities. Through learning and exchange, this session will share practical strategies for navigating institutional barriers and building collaborative relationships with campus organizations, faculty, and staff. Presenting brief case studies from our own institutional context and student leadership, we hope to engage student leaders in questions, such as: "How do you define leadership in the context of social justice and student organizing?" and "What barriers have you faced when advocating for equity and inclusion on your campus?" We aim to foster collaboration through sharing organizing experiences, discussing campus challenges, and engaging in collective brainstorming and coalition building for equity and justice.
