Purpose: The Medical College of Wisconsin's Office of Community Engagement developed the "Community Engaged Scholars Immersion Program" to create a shared learning experience for faculty, staff, students, community organization representatives, and individuals committed to advancing community engagement (CE). Objectives: This three-day, cohort-style program introduces foundational CE concepts before progressing to deeper applications. Participants gain both practical and theoretical knowledge, learn collaboratively in community settings, and discover strategies to conduct ethical and sustainable community-focused work.
