Description

This interactive workshop explores how to transform assessment data into compelling narratives that demonstrate the impact of civic discourse across higher education. Drawing from the Institute for Citizens & Scholars' Campuswide Immersion and Faculty Institute programs, we highlight how aligning data with audience needs turns reports into motivation for action. Participants will examine common assessment challenges surfaced through multi-institutional collaboration and how campus leaders cultivate a shared language while honoring local contexts. Together, we will consider how credible data paired with emotional resonance advances collaborative problem-solving, civic engagement, and compassion. Participants will leave with strategies to frame their own efforts, identify resources, and exchange ideas for using data as a narrative throughline to inspire action and unity.
