Join us for an engaging dialogue about Experiential Civic Education: Encouraging Student Engagement using the Field Immersion Framework, a new resource for educators seeking practical pedagogies that prepare students to navigate complex civic issues. The Field Immersion Framework marries place-based experiential learning with civic engagement to promote transformative learning outcomes and civic agency. This author talk will highlight key insights from the book, including theoretical foundations, case studies from diverse contexts, and evidence of transformative student outcomes.
