Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing how we create, share, and make sense of knowledge—but its role in community engagement is still taking shape. How might we use AI to reflect, rather than flatten, the values at the heart of our work: reciprocity, mutual benefit, shared power, and public purpose? This interactive session invites participants to explore real possibilities and tough questions about using AI to document and communicate engagement in higher education. Together, we'll examine emerging examples and process-based frameworks, and consider what responsible, equity-centered use of AI could look like. Participants will leave with new language, insights, and questions to guide their own practice and conversations about technology and community-university partnerships.
