Description

Through the Gephardt Institute's St. Louis Fellows Program, Washington University students dedicate their summer to St. Louis through full-time nonprofit or civic internships coupled with a robust experiential curriculum to understand St. Louis' history, culture, politics, challenges, and opportunities. The program's success relies on mutually beneficial campus-community partnerships that support the program's continued expansion and impact. In this session, participants will explore components of the infrastructure designed to foster, sustain, scale, and continuously improve these campus-community partnerships. From MOUs to a Request for Internship Proposals process, supervisor orientation to site visits, evaluation to community advisory meetings, join us in learning about how to establish, maintain, and support partnerships at scale.
