This session presents the Cyprus Service-Learning Inter-Institutional Initiative, an interdisciplinary collaboration led by the University of Indianapolis and Central Michigan University in collaboration with partners in Cyprus. This partnership exemplifies authentic inter-institutional campus community partnerships that aim to engage students and faculty in global, experiential service-learning. Inspired by innovation, reciprocity, and co-creation, this initiative addresses current and pressing community needs while advancing civic learning across borders. Participants will explore how to identify partners and ways to collectively design and sustain partnerships that foster trust, shared responsibility, and innovation. Through interactive activities, participants will learn about practices for developing global service-learning models that embody action and collectiveness while strengthening campuses and communities in culturally diverse and politically complex environments.
