Alina Merceron is the Program Coordinator for the HERCULES Exposome Research Center's Community Engagement Core, and the Program Manager for Emory's Climate and Health Research Center. Alina received her Masters of Public Health from Emory's Rollins School of Public Health in 2024 from the Gangarosa Department of Environmental Health, where she also served as a Graduate Research Assistant with HERCULES and served as the President of the Rollins Environmental Health Action Coalition. Prior to Emory, Alina was a middle school science teacher in public schools for two years, where she served as a 7th Grade Assistant Team Lead, developed curricula, tutored students, supported the emotional needs of students, and created district-wide instructional materials for Black History Month.
