How do you ensure that student-led initiatives are truly student-led? This session, aimed at Community Engagement practitioners, students, and those fostering student-led impact, highlights the mission and impactful work of the Rollins College Student Support Foundation (SSF). SSF supports students in need while empowering leaders through hands-on leadership and service. Rollins students directly oversee SSF’s emergency grants, Tars Pantry, and collaborative partnerships to effect tangible campus changes. Participants will learn how the Rollins College Chapter of SSF transformed their emergency food pantry into a comprehensive wellness pantry and career-closet by building a robust student-led organization, emphasizing student voice, and empowering leadership.
