This session will explore how student-led leadership in student government can drive transformative change on campus. Drawing on four years of experience serving over 30,000 students at the University of Kansas, including roles as Student Body Vice President and President, DaNae Estabine will share strategies for successful collaboration with diverse campus stakeholders. Participants will learn how to develop and implement impactful initiatives, such as expanding mental health resources, enhancing student spaces on campus, and increasing sustainability efforts. Attendees will leave with practical tools and a deeper understanding of how to amplify student voices and lead community-driven change on their own campuses.
