Description

What are your campus assets, challenges, and dreams regarding community engagement (CE) at your institution? As a land-grant, flagship institution, the University of Wyoming has many assets when it comes to campus infrastructure and a culture of serving our state. This includes receiving the Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement, institutionalizing CE through tenure and promotion, and new general education requirements incorporating CE and experiential learning. We are also working through various challenges and dreams regarding CE infrastructure, such as data collection and management systems to assess impact, more support resources for campus and community, and effectively sharing our stories. The goal for this session is for participants to share their own campus assets, challenges and big dreams for the future!
