During this session, participants will learn about cost-effective strategies for sustaining community partnerships, alumni relationships, and creating pathways for students to pursue public service work professionally. During this session, we will share best practices from several community engagement programs including SPARK (an initiative for incoming first-year students to work on public service projects at home while receiving ongoing support from their new campus community), Harvard's Global Day of Service, alumni mentoring, public service recruiting, and virtual volunteering platforms.
