This proposal presents a model for graduate programs in community-engaged scholarship that prioritizes epistemic justice, ensuring that community-based knowledge is valued and integrated into the academic curriculum. By adopting an equity-based structure, the program fosters a supportive environment where students can develop their community-engaged scholarship trajectories. This presentation will share specific strategies and initiatives implemented by the graduate program in community-engaged scholarship at Tulane University, along with the positive outcomes and lessons learned.
