Description

Johns Hopkins Tutorial Project matches approximately 120 first through fifth grade students with JHU students for one-on-one tutoring twice a week on campus. This session will describe how Tutorial Project employs a multi-layered student leadership structure and ‘pods’ to increase belonging and well-being of undergraduate tutors. Participants will consider the importance of designing civic engagement programs that center both the well-being of participants and the needs of the community.
