Description

Higher education institutions play a unique, crucial role in preparing students to engage thoughtfully in today’s politically polarized environment. Despite seeming divisions and stereotypes, Americans share many common goals. Giving students at higher education institutions the opportunity to engage across differences is vital to a well-rounded educational experience. In this session, you’ll explore Unify America's innovative approach to fostering dialogue across ideological and geographic divides. Our session will introduce methods that have successfully engaged over 20,,000 students nationwide at community colleges, four-year institutions, technical, and faith-based schools, enhancing democratic participation and reducing partisan animosity. Learn how our model effectively scales for campus-wide initiatives, promoting widespread curricular and co-curricular civic engagement.
