Engaging in refugee resettlement is an opportunity to bring the world to campus and support the aim of graduating global citizens. In a time of historic displacement, it's essential to incorporate an understanding of refugees into the learning experiences of students. This session will explore how, through a partnership between international education and civic engagement, campuses can create and institutionalize participating in the resettlement of refugees in their communities or on their campus. It also creates an opportunity to express a message and build a community of welcome, inclusion and belonging.
