Description
The Carnegie Elective Classifications Research Lab provides a networked infrastructure to coordinate and support strategic research to advance knowledge and understanding of the broader public purposes of higher education. A community of 30 researchers are examining community engagement at community colleges, HBCUs, faith-based institutions, graduate student preparation, promotion and tenure, assessment, intersections of diversity and CE and the leadership of CE, and institutionalization of CE. This roundtable will share about the development of the research lab, research communities of practice, impact, and opportunities to access available data and collaborate on research projects to advance the public purpose of higher education.
