17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. Higher education is uniquely positioned to respond to the SDGs, particularly through the work faculty, staff, and students conduct alongside community partners to address pressing needs and evolving challenges. This workshop will introduce participants to the SDGs through a community-university partnership lens and provide a review of research conducted by our team to effectively link the SDG framework with higher education community engagement.
