Description

The University of Penn needed a new way of thinking about its measurement and storytelling as an engaged anchor institution. Despite a long and storied history with the city of Philadelphia -from research, scholarships, public health, economic opportunity - Penn expanded its measurement of impact to capture the social progress of its initiatives, as much as the economic. After years of research Penn released Penn & Philly in 2024 as an innovative platform for storytelling about local impact. It still features hard data about economic impact, but now includes stories of the people behind those numbers. By using social media, video, information graphics, and motion graphics, Penn communicates to its stakeholders a fuller and richer of impact via mutual partnerships.
