Knowing what engagement opportunities exist is critical to faculty members choosing community engaged teaching, research, and creative activity approaches. This session shares the strategies used to link strategic planning and communication to community engagement efforts in teaching, research, creative activity, and service at a decentralized, urban university. Together we will share how these efforts were used to develop outreach, map engagement opportunities, and communicate vision internally and externally. In this promising practice session we will learn from the expertise in the room as well as from the presenters!
