Luis Sierra Moncion joined Johns Hopkins University in July 2023, serving as Deputy Director of the Center for Social Concern. In this role, he works closely with the Executive Director and CSC Team to elevate the CSC’s mission of fostering a lifelong commitment to active citizenship among JHU students, by integrating education, action, and reflection into community-focused programming for Hopkins’ students within Baltimore City. Luis is an educator and Student Affairs professional with over a decade of experience in leadership development, civic learning and democratic engagement (CLDE), voter engagement, community building, and advocacy, both in the higher education and nonprofit sectors.
