In his role as assistant director of ENACT, David Weinstein coordinated the national expansion of the Educational Network for Active Civic Engagement program, mentors the ENACT Student Delegates, and supports ENACT's 50-state network of Faculty Fellows, students and alumni. He is a founding coordinator of the VoteDeis Campus Coalition. An educator with K-12 teaching experience in public and alternative school settings, primarily teaching high school English and humanities, Weinstein has more than 20 years of communications and project-management experience in nonprofits and higher education. In 2021, he was elected to his second term on the Cambridge (Massachusetts) School Committee. Weinstein is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where he earned a bachelor's in American studies, and holds a master's in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
