Dr. Nicole Springer is the Senior Director of Professional Development and Scholarship & Chief Equity Officer at Campus Compact. Across her roles with the Compact, Nicole works to advance the Compact’s holistic approach to professional development and scholarship and serves as a strategic partner with the president in advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Before starting at Campus Compact in 2018, Nicole was the associate director for the Center for Community Engaged Learning at Michigan State University. During her time in the field of community-engaged scholarship, she has focused her efforts on practitioner-scholar professional development, curriculum creation, and equity-based assessment/evaluation
