Katherine has a BA in Psychology and a Certificate in Community Development from Siena College. She also received a Masters of Social work from University of New England. For two years Katherine served as an AmeriCorps VISTA as the Coordinator of Academic Partnerships. In 2022, Katherine came to Colby-Sawyer College to serve as the Coordinator of community-engaged Learning and BOLD.
