Description
Globally, only seven percent of refugees have access to higher education, and less than one percent of refugees are considered for resettlement. Colleges and universities have a rich legacy of welcoming refugees, but institutions also face challenges and uncertainty over how to enroll and support these students. This session will outline opportunities for institutions to enroll and support students with refugee backgrounds and work with participants to map their own campus’ existing resources and how they can be leveraged to better support refugee-background students.
