In this session, participants will learn about: (1) The U.S. Department of Education’s call to action for colleges to collaborate with districts and nonprofits to place more students in PK-12 support roles through Federal Work-Study jobs and other pathways to community service, including AmeriCorps programs, community-engaged learning courses, and more; (2) How the National Partnership for Student Success (NPSS) provides the guidance, resources, and cross-sector connections needed to build collective strategies and impact through promising practices and support networks; and (3) How participants can join, contribute to, and benefit from the NPSS Higher Education Coalition—a national network and learning community designed to unite, support, and recognize institutions answering the call to action through locally-determined solutions in their regions.
