Place-based community engagement continues to develop as a strategy to harness collective impact to improve university and community outcomes. This author talk will share findings from the book “Place-Based Community Engagement in Higher Education: A Strategy to Transform Universities and Communities” and engage audience members in the evolution of place-based work in the last five years. In particular, we will explore promising practices with executive leadership, community engagement professionals (CEPs), and anti-racist practices.
