Description
When partnerships don’t work, we often try to fix them by adding “fuel” in the form of additional resources, benefits, and value. While fuel is necessary, it is often underlying “frictions” that keep partnerships from thriving. In this session, we’ll explore how a project sponsored by America’s Service Commissions helped to unearth some of these partnership frictions and develop tools that can help strengthen relationships between AmeriCorps and higher education. Participants will have an opportunity to hear from various stakeholders involved in the project and consider how they can apply tools and resources to create and strengthen their own partnerships.
