This interactive dialogue session will provide attendees with strategies and tools for early-stage planning necessary to develop a campus-wide CEL initiative. Beginning with a focus on institutional goals relative to recruitment, retention, and enrollment, we will facilitate a conversation with attendees to consider which on- or off-campus collaborators should be engaged in the development of the large-scale CEL program. Then, through a campus/community asset mapping activity, attendees will consider strategies for identifying key stakeholders and the first steps necessary to start or expand CEL as a campus-wide initiative. Finally, this dialogue session will introduce a CEL experience designation process that addresses and measures institutional goals.
