Systems thinking is an important tool that can assist with successfully navigating organizational bureaucracies, building lasting community partnerships, and conducting effective strategic planning. This workshop will introduce participants to the ecocycle planning tool and other ‘liberating structures’ that can help us surface and identify hidden mental models, see new opportunities, and move past roadblocks. Participants who engage in this highly interactive session will walk away with several practical tools and an understanding of how they can utilize them in their own professional contexts. Individuals are welcomed, but groups from the same institution may find particular benefit from the content and activities.
