Description
Our field is rich with language and words! In the last few years, the terminology in our field has continued to shift and evolve towards inclusivity and asset-based language. We often use words without thinking about their origin and unintended impact. This session will guide participants in exploring their values, the values that their department or office draws from, new(er) terminology, why it matters, and how to work from an asset- and values-based approach.
