Description
This interactive session will use "Practicing Democracy: A Toolkit for Educating Civic Professionals" (recently published by AACU and Campus Compact) as a starting point for a workshop on how to engage students in deliberative practices across the curriculum. Participants will learn about recently created lesson plans or "civic prompts" and then share stories and ideas for creating similar resources in their own contexts and as part of a broader civic commons.
