In this session, we address a critical issue: enhancing professional development for students in paid community engagement roles while maintaining supervisor capacity. Guided by NACE competencies, we address the challenges of resource provision and mentorship, emphasizing the mutual benefits of nurturing student professionals. Through interactive discussions and examples from Arizona State University, we will explore successful models and strategies for aligning student responsibilities with institutional and community priorities.
