Description
This session will highlight Metropolitan State University of Denver’s common reading project, 1 Book/1 Project/2 Transform. We will discuss how our common reader is selected based on its focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, its association with a community need, and its alignment with a service opportunity. Facilitating faculty, staff, and student involvement has been an aim of our program, which we bolster academically with the support of in-depth teaching and learning guides and campus engagement.
