Description

The Voter Friendly Campus designation was formed as a tool to support institutions in meeting the requirements of the Higher Education Act of 1965, which requires that campuses distribute voter registration forms to their students. NASPA and the Fair Election’s Center Campus Vote Project launched the effort to create more measurable and manageable guidelines for institutions to follow in order to create a more voter-friendly campus through a campus plan. This session will explore the aspects of getting the two-year designation, present highlights from campuses that are Voter Friendly, and explore the various resources that this free program provides.
