As a Campus Compact Campus Champion, you are the connective tissue between your institution and a national network of changemakers, yet the role often comes without a roadmap or a community of peers who understand it. This session is designed specifically for you. Grounded in the concept of the tempered radical — someone who challenges the status quo from within, through relationships and persistence — you'll learn to map the people and relationships that drive institutional decisions, build a coalition of the willing around a challenge you're already facing, and craft a pitch to move someone from the sidelines to your side. You'll leave with a clearer sense of who you are in this work and a network of Campus Champions who are navigating it alongside you.
