Sharrell Hassell-Goodman, Ph.D., is a recent graduate of the George Mason University Higher Education program with a concentration in Women and Gender Studies and Social Justice and a certificate in qualitative research. Her dissertation research was with the First-Generation Women of the African Diaspora collective in which they went on a journey to find fullness through (re)membering, an endarkened feminist participatory action research project. Sharrell is a part of a research collective interested in shifting research practices to be more inclusive, less oppressive, and explicitly anti-racist and decolonial.
