Lenore Rodicio is a higher education leader and strategist. A native of Miami, Florida, Dr. Rodicio is currently serving as a senior fellow at the Aspen Institute College Excellence Program and a Complete College America Fellow. Previously, she held progressive leadership roles over 18 years at Miami Dade College, culminating in the role of executive vice president and provost. Dr. Rodicio’s transformational work in student success and achievement led to significant improvements in retention and graduation, and earned Miami Dade College the 2019 Aspen Award for Community College Excellence. Additionally, her leadership in developmental education resulted in one of the most successful mathematics redesign processes in the country. In recognition of her role and voice in higher education in Florida, she was selected as a 2019 Miami Herald Influencer. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Rodicio is married to her husband of over twenty years, is the mother of five children, and is an avid baker.
