Alexandra Koch serves as a student member of the Haas National Advisory Board and has dedicated her academic and professional efforts to working at the intersection of national security and human rights within the U.S. and abroad. At Stanford, Alexandra specializes in International Security within the International Relations major and is minoring in Human Rights. Her public service and civic engagement efforts on Stanford campus build off of her past experiences interning at the International Criminal Court in The Hague and her current work at the D.C.-based global pro-bono law firm Public International Law & Policy Group, whose work focuses on providing legal assistance to states and non-state actors engaged in peace negotiations, post-conflict constitutions drafting, and transitional justice efforts globally. Other campus commitments include work with SENSA, Stanford Center for Human Rights and International Justice and the Stanford King Center on Global Development.
