Speaker Bio
I’ve worked with civic engagement and community involvement through multiple avenues throughout my life, always with an approach of equity, partnership, and shared support. My past experience with service includes four years as chair of Noblesville’s Mayor’s Youth Council with a focus placed on encouraging civic engagement in local youth, editor-in-chief of my high school student newspaper, student body government communications director, a volunteer with Cathedral Soup Kitchen, and a student board member of Noblesville Schools Education Foundation, with an additional six years as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels, two years as a partner on my high school’s Special Olympics track team, one year as a member of the Women’s Leadership Program Student Advisory Board, and one year as a research intern at Becky’s Fund with a focus on domestic violence survivor advocacy. Currently, I serve as a student leader for 826DC with the Honey W. Nashman Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service, the vice president of my Alpha Delta Pi chapter, the executive assistant to the president of the Union Internationale des Avocats, and a legal assistant at Fortney & Scott LLC with a focus on human rights, child labor, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
