My civic leadership journey was sparked by a profound belief in the power of collective action to drive positive change. Witnessing societal challenges and recognizing the potential for improvement, I felt compelled to contribute actively. Inspired by leaders who impacted me and my own experiences, I embarked on my civic leadership path. Through my work in lowering the dependency on pay-to-play organizations, advocating for mental health awareness, and expanding the national bone marrow registry, I have seen firsthand the power that communities have when they come together for change. When people are united through a common mission to improve their own community, not only do they take a step towards meaningful reforms, but they also grow together. This leads to a greater acceptance of each other and increases inclusivity within communities. My civic leadership journey is an ongoing commitment to creating a more just and resilient society, driven by the belief that positive change is achievable through collective effort and thoughtful, inclusive leadership.
