In this interactive workshop hosted by Unify America, we’ll explore the realities of polarization and unpack common misperceptions about how divided we really are. Together, we’ll focus on the role of shared goals in helping us communicate more effectively across differences.

Drawing on Unify America’s Unify Challenge—a national program where college students engage in one-on-one conversations across perspectives—you’ll slow down and ask deeper questions: What are we really trying to solve? What values shape how we approach complex issues?

During the session, you’ll engage in a guided conversation around a goal statement related to AI, then work collaboratively with a partner to co-create your own shared goal statement.
You’ll leave with new tools and perspectives to help you navigate challenging conversations and build understanding across differences—on campus and beyond.
